I don't remember the exact measurement, but I posted this subject about 2 
years ago. A customer of back in St. Louis had a Forster and Steinway, and 
told me she can tell the difference in key width. I measured the two pianos, 
and there was about a. 5 mm between the two. That might sound like a lot, but 
over the width of the keyboard, that can add up. When I got back to my store, 
I measured new Petrofs, Knabes, (Young Chang), and Hyundai's (Samick), and 
discovered there was a difference with each one of them.
