A435 or A440? Was: A sweet old lady

Friends,

I would be interested in other responses to this.  I think I would have
tuned to A-440 if the piano had already been tuned to that and stood up
to the added tension OK.  It would then be useful as an accompanying
instrument as well as a solo instrument.  What think ye?
