Tacky, tacky, tacky. That's like putting stickers on a fine piece of jewlery indicating the source of the diamond, gold, clasps, etc.

Samicks and other Asian pianos have stickers on the inside of the rim:  Delignit pinblocks, King George (or whoever) hammer felt, Laoureux (or whichever) damper felt, etc. etc.
