D.C. causing nausea?!

Hello Terry and List,

Sorry I wasn't able to respond immediately. There really is nothing that
would make anyone sick in a partial system. (In a full system, mold and
mildew can form if Humidifier Treatment is not used, and some folks are
certainly highly sensitive to mold and mildew.) The dehumidifiers are
powder coated which minimizes any chance of something being released from a
paint. The dehumidifiers are not strong enough to volatilize a finish. The
humidistat is made of little more than wires and plastic. Certain solder
joints exist, but even these are minimized through use of lugging and
crimping machines. One of our goals at the company is to keep the product
chemical free (and the workplace). In summary we have never experienced
this to my knowledge. To put this in perspective, I have been with the
company eight years.

I honestly don't know much about sensitivity of people to electrical
devices. Maybe someone else on the list is knowledgeable here.

Sincerely,

Roger Wheelock, VP
Dampp-Chaser Corp.
