What on earth is sand linen? Please tell me more. Also, would you care to detail your procedures for reshaping the capo? Thanks.

I was thinking I would take a small file and break it with a hammer. If it was an old one or flea market stuff, some pieces would cut better than others. Then use the sand linen like Oleg suggests.
