For woodworkers out there in pianoland. I ran across this scarfing =
method. Looks pretty slick, and perhaps might be of interest to some.

I wonder how this would work for utilizing short flitches in soundboard =
panel building. Perhaps something for those in the habit of bending rims =
as a pastime to consider (for making a 20-foot long laminate).
