Greg,

Yeah, great book. It has given me an excellent understanding of what the massage therapist is doing to me, and why it feels the way it does. Are you doing your own massage? I was a little put off by the number of possible trigger point locations, and the whole pain referral thing, it seems like a lot to learn, when I can just go see Donna and get the excellent results. But I can be a real sucker for "do-it-yourself", all I would need is a little encouragement....

Mike

Speaking of Clair Davies, have you all heard of his (new?) book? It's called "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" "Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief" . I have read only a part of it so far but I can confidently recommend it to everyone without reservation. I'd tell you where you could get your own copy but mine was a gift to me from a fellow sufferer who, it just so happens, isn't even a piano tech. Check it out folks if you'd like to do something about your own aches and pains rather than spending countless dollars to have some health care professional tell you that they can't help you AFTER collecting their fee.

So can I infer from that statement that all tapering of soundboards is

done on the top surface?

Yes you've answered the $64.00 question correctly. Well almost. Clair Davies used to do his on the bottom but I don't know why.
