Hi Robin,

One man's gold is another man's lead. Witness the sustain time thread where
I believe that 8 seconds at c6 is merely adequate--while others believe it
is perhaps too much to ask. Or search the archives and find that some
tuners are not terribly fussy about A440 and would not necessarily correct
the pitch if it were say 4 cents flat--where as for me that is considered a
pitch correction.

Most of the research as you do point out still needs to be done.
