Hello All,
I have a piano that I am trying to appraise for a customer who is
dealing with a Estate situation. It is a Bosendorfer mdl 200 6'7" about
1965(I wrote down what turned out to be an opus # instead of the serial
number. The piano has problems with its polyester finish cracking at the
three lid hinges, the lid roundout edges and at the strecher right
corner of the stretcher. The soundboard finish is also badly crazed as
well as having quite a bit of some type of mold. All of the above is
making it difficult for me to set a value on this instrument.
Could anyone help by giving at least a ballpark figure for person to
person, dealer sales floor or as a rebuildable shell.
Any help would be much appreciated as I would like to be sure that the
customer gets a fair price for it.
thanks in advance
