Jay, did you regulate well the pressure screws of the frame, (the glide bolts) with the action in place, and the blocks screwed , before beginning ? Leave the blocks in place ans screwed tight for the leveling. As John Page say, leave the punchings the same direction when adding paper. Talking about the arch , the keybed is not flat, so your 65 mm dimension should remain the same in the middle of the keyboard (more or less) We use a light somewhat flexible rule in spruce with a 3 mm curvature approxamitively , so the play between the rule an the key is easier to eyeball than trying to have a perfectly jointive surface. it also help to align perfectly the keys (new bushings ?) so the top is square and the spaces between keys is even and neat.
