Hi David,

Good to see that you're taking the plunge. We made our own clamps, 
but it took a few days to make the set. A diagram of our design 
(which was dimensioned so as to be useable on grands from the 
smallest to the largest rimmed concert grand) can be found at;

The spine of our clamps were made from light gauge RHS.

We made 35 in total, with five of them being deeper to accommodate 
the rear leg support block.
