  Yep, that's the sucker.
consider any other way than removal of the rail first.

    Woe is me.
You do not mention why you would like to remove the rail.

  Joe,
The material that was used (not felt) has disintegrated so when =
the jack trips and kicks back it hits wood instead of felt, making a =
clicking sound. I see no other option than to remove the rail and put =
new felt on.

To remove the rail use the Jahn ( sold by Pianotec ) spade capture =
tool. It is simply a steel rod with a slot milled in the end and a short =
tube soldered on the tip to capture the regulating spade of the jack =
rails hanger.
The rail hangers can break if they have been bent into position =
during or after manufacture, so note if the rail moves up and down while =
you are removing the hanger screw and straighten.

  10-4. I am hoping that a drop-screw regulator or perhaps the =
regulator that fits the eye-hooks on letoff buttons might work. If not, =
I will have to use long-nose pliers (carefully) I suppose. And stock up =
on Ben-Gay for the wrist joints. Thanks muchly for the feedback. I =
appreciate it.
  Charles
