Hello Isaac, In fact you need something to put the keys on(like a big wood block), while the steam is working on the bushings. At least you need it only for the front bushings because while steaming the balance bushings the key can stay in its position on its own. I'll try to take some pictures, but no bushing removing job is scheduled for the next few days in our workshop. So it will be just a presentation, but there will be no steam coming out from the tool.
