short question on (15-20 year old) Weber console

Scott,

The "short" answer is to respace the hammers so they don't rub. Loosen the 
flange
screw(s) and move whichever direction is needed. Careful not make the next one
start rubbing though. :-)

After that, you get into "burning" the shank, which is a whole 'nuther story.
