This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Count the number of beats flat at A4 and set it about 25% sharper than it is flat. 10 beats flat, set it 2.5 beats sharp. Stretch the octaves a bit more going up to the top and in the bass. The wider octaves going up will compensate for greater overpull required in the treble and a progressively flatter instrument as you add tension below. The overstretch in the bass will result in less overpull which the bass requires. Tune outward from the temperament octave A3:A4. Expect to do 2 rough passes before fine tuning. ETD's are a lot easier. Is it a whole lot more difficult to do? How do you do it? Thank you! Matthew Todd Todd Piano Works Piano Tuner/Technician Tuning - Repairing - Regulating _____ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
