Yup,  Broadway was like many other European makers rather behind in their 
technological advances.  The owner made some pretty silly mistakes in asserting 
that it had 90 keys and is made out of solid English Rosewood.  It does look 
like rosewood, but rosewood does not hail from England and the compass is 
probably A to A.  These look like older pianos because of the light frame compared 
to the monsters of New York and Boston in 1890.  I rebuilt one of these about 
15 years ago and it really had a beautiful sound. TP
