Heat helps, but that feature will make the use = of epoxy to be impractical for this purpose. In retrospect, I suspect my using epoxy for filling cracks in pinblocks = would have been better had I waited longer before drilling. I don't = think I waited very long. Again, I've several epoxy hockey pucks=20 laying around that seemed to be soft and after awhile got much harder. = Hmmmmmm? Drilling before complete cure would affect dimension accuracy. The point that as the high volume shop for this operation, you are = the one=20 who should be working out these problems and reporting the solutions = to the=20 rest of us lower volume shops who don't have the advantage of high = volume=20 to incrementally work out optimal approaches. Ron N Ron True ,but I had it worked out the other way I mentioned & shared = it on list before. I heard so much about the eficacy of epoxies from so = many on list I gave up my anti-epoxy bias to try this & am disappointed. = So maybe I'll go back to the tried & true method I did work out & did = share with you. Besides it doesn't take high volumne to be aggrevated = with even one procedural glitch as I'm sure you know.
