  Spring clips are nice , but I would dab a bit of epoxy on them so that
they don't slip around later , cause even when you crimp them they may be a
little loose .    Thoughts ?

  PVC-E glue will do a nice job of holding the clips in place. It's
available from Schaff or Pianotek.
