Hello List and Andrew With the Yamaha C-6 or any Y Grand I believe, the leg must be removed and the three (or is it four?) c/s screws removed from the castor flange. Then the whole castor can be removed. It has a deep spigot of about 1 1/2" and about 3/4" dia. You can do this on your own if you have a "Grand Raiser" - which is a glorified car jack on a tripod.
