And more importantly, what is the ratio of signal to noise?  I think we've
nearly hit more OT than on-topic, which is a kind of critical mass that can
topple things over... especially for those on dialup, digest mode, or both.
They have to drag every message down before "just" hitting the delete key,
or running their filters, or neither (if digest).
