The correct spelling is Ecsaine. The popular, though incorrect, spelling on this list has been Escaine. No, I don't know how that got started. ... Del Perhaps it's because Escaine sounds less like a skin disease that Ecsaine. Who dreams up these names anyway? (They're likely insaine.) Phil F
