Addendum: Looking back, I think I readjusted the backchecking feature 
somewhat. Just don't remember if I fooled with the let-off. I did not 
remove any front rail punchings as there was excessive aftertouch to 
begin with. I did not readjust the damper spoons as I had early lift 
already.

As opposed to what?

Time to remove four felts, readjust the capstans, adjust the 
backchecks somewhat and determine if the damper spoon lift and/or 
let-off absolutely needed to be readjusted and potentially increasing 
key travel by removing some front rail punchings: 1-2 hours?
