Julie,

Whew, I'm glad to hear that it was a comedy routine! As a young woman =
starting out in this field (and a couple times later), I found myself in =
some not so funny circumstances. Not that the problem is specific to =
piano tuning, of course. Creeps can be found anywhere as stage =
managers, security guards (oh, my!), custodians, or just plain old =
drunks at home--you name it. All common sense and self-defense rules =
apply.

  Well, Julie,
It's been a while. Several years, actually. The old "dog-in-piano" =
gag was from a so-called comedy album of some sort, I forget by whom.=20
At least you're amused. It was a lot more common before caller ID =
and star-69.=20
     You're not alone...............

    hello list,

there.=20

I told him that he had a dog problem and not a piano =

hung up.

                  Since I am a rookie I wasn't expecting this, but I =

told him to get a big piece of meat and lure it out. How do you handle =
these calls?=20

It is refreshing to know that not all teenagers are =
