Not if the total for text and graphics is under 96K.

I run pictures through PhotoShop 5.5 (mac OS), in particular "Save a 
copy for the Web". At the "Hi-Q .jpg" setting they generally come 
through ~50-60K apiece. Enough to get one photo per post through 
under the threshold.
