You are right, Phill, the 10% is usually too little for the bass and 30% can be high for the middle. I have found the best settings to be 15% in the bass and 28% in the middle. I left the high end at 36%. But even that is off on some pianos. I change between the three ranges manually as I get to each section. I have never tried the "all three showing at once" scale, even though I know it's there. However, by changing manually, I admit I sometimes forget and have to re-do some notes when I realize my error. Maybe i should try the "all three" mode. Let me know if you want me to show you.
