To all,

In the past couple of months, 356talk has begun to again drift into 
somewhat of a chat line. By that I mean posts appear on the list that are 
not directly or indirectly linked to the issues that 356talk was formed to 
address.These are sometimes one-liners,  which even long-time stalwart 
contributors to the list sometimes post, that have no purpose other than to 
show the cleverness of the poster.

I have copied a couple of lines from the Welcome Message that you all got 
when you subscribed. They are most important so please keep them in mind.

"The purpose of 356Talk is to exchange information about 356 cars.  It is a 
no flame list with no profanity allowed.

  No politics or denigrating humor or one liners.. this is not a 'chat' list "

Don't take this personally . If you have comments pro or con send them 
directly to robinhansen@356registry.org and rickdill@356registry.org and 
please don't start a thread on the issue.
