---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment That''s right Tom the Maple is ligther. After weighing a few sets against the sapele they average about 1/2 gram lighter per hammer. Hey 1/2 gram is a 1/2 gram when you're trying to make weight.Right? Dale Ray Negron at Ronsen Hammers, a great guy to do business with. If you do make the order may I suggest asking for the soft white maple core instead of the mahogany core. It's a tad lighter and will help with touch weight. Also since they do all of the production at their facility you can specify for a longer tail ( Steinway in particular) if needed.
