Quick fix for pedal lyre

Yep, that is the best repair and like Barbara says once you have what you need in the car it goes pretty quick...but until you have that together I like boot leather and CA glue.   Slice a couple slivers off, soak some CA glue on the stuff them in the hole.   The size of the sliver is trial and error.   Works great for most stripped screws...
