Julia, yet another opinion..

Garland Goodwin and Tom Driscoll both have excellent suggestions. Take 
theirs into serious consideration. The mute strip works great, and do 
not burn any bridges with a Kawai dealership.

Both of these gentlemen(Garland anyway!) beat me to the computer to 
reply, but I agree with their comments 100%.
