We got back late last night from the APTTA convention in beautiful downtown
Adelaide, arriving in Los Angeles about a half hour and a day before
leaving Sydney, getting back the Thursday that was on loan from the trip
over. Very strange.

We spent some time in Sydney, prior to the conference, as guests of Ron and
Kristie Overs, who have our eternal gratitude for allowing us into their
home and disrupting their lives for the time we were there. We had a
terrific time, though not nearly enough of it. Thank you folks, for
inviting us to the conference, for your much appreciated generosity, and
for showing us around your corner of your beautiful country.

The conference went extremely well, I thought. Interest was very high, and
the questions asked indicated to me that considerable thought and
discussion had already taken place on the bridge and soundboard subjects I
presented. I suspect Ron had more than a bit to do with that somewhere
along the line. Good humor, good classes, well organized, great people. We
had a terrific time. Well done! We miss them already.

For those of you who saw, heard, and liked Ron's #3 (is that right?) piano
in Reno, the #5 he recently finished and took to Adelaide for the
conference is better. This is a very nice piano, and I (we) hope to return
one day and hear the production model(s).
