Off on the CF III tangent to this thread....

The Grieg Academy for Music here in Bergen just purchased, or rather
just took possession of its brand spanking new CF III a couple weeks
back. I was the first who got to tickle those ivory(ite)s when it was
first placed on its feet and this particular instrument is hands down
among the very finest I have ever run across. I was really shocked to
feel the depth this instrument had. On soft play
you feel like you are sinking deep into the tones that return from it,
and yet when you use a bit of force the instrument springs into a
crystal ringing full and bright and exploding with life.

I had no idea that Yamaha had come so far in its quest to best the very
best of instruments. If this one specimen is at all representative of
the new breed of top flight Yamahas... then all I have to say is "Move
over Steinway... step aside Bosendorfer...." This instrument is simply
fantastic.

Cheers
