This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hello List and Kevin who said (inter alia): " I've also talked to one or = two other techs who did a repin job, only to have the problem return a = year later." There is also the other returning problem of growing = key-leads (weights) I replaced a whole set in a Broadwood grand about = ten years ago - now the new weights are getting white, expanding, = growing out of the sides of the keys which are splitting as a direct = result. In the case of both centre-pin and key weights replacement = doesn't seem to be enough. Makes me wonder if there's any chemical in = the wood which is causing these horrid problems. Note. I find that only = Grand pianos seem to be affected in the key-lead problem. Regards=20 Michael G (UK) ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
