Climate control on NorCal coast?

Hi all,

One of my clients is moving to Shelter Cove, which is on the California
coast, north of Mendocino, South of Eureka. He is about a mile inland. Not having
much experience with cool, foggy coastal climates as relating to pianos, I
was wondering if any of you in NorCal, Oregon, or Washington could offer me some
insight as to what voltage of dehumidifier I should recommend. He has a
couple of new Kawai K-18s, and a Baldwin L grand, vintage early 60s.

Since heat is not likely to be a problem there unless the earth's climate
changes drastically, I was thinking that 30-40 watt rods with Hydrostats might be
adequate. But that's a guess, and I'd really like advice from someone with
actual experience in these things....

Thanks in advance,

Dave Stahl
