Terry, The insulation I used does not have the foil backing, just paper, but it is the thicker of the two values that were offered. Since my dehumidifier drains into the sink, I don't know how much water it is collecting. It probably shouldn't have to run all day however. Another factor is the poor seal on three garage doors that are on the shop. The rubber gasket at the bottom of the door does not form a good seal. I will eventually completely seal off two of the garage doors and replace the other with two big swinging doors. The floors will get painted and sealed and this will help as well.
