The sanctity of human life, from the unborn to the very, very old; i.e.
anti-abortion; anti-euthanasia

Marriage being between one man and one woman

Freedom of religion for all; not freedom from religion demanded by a
few*

Less government intrusion into our lives

The freedom to make something of one's self

Just to name a few....

*the only time Thomas Jefferson mentioned a "wall of separation between
church and state" was in an obscure letter to a Baptist pastor in New
England who had written Jefferson with concerns that the new government
would set up a church-state relationship like it was in England and
Europe at that time where one religious entity (Catholicism;
Anglicanism; Lutheranism; Calvinism, etc.) would be established and ALL
of the citizens would not only pay taxes to the federal government, but
also to the religious entity. This type of association between the
established religious entities and the state governments had been
prevalent for over a thousand years, in regards to Catholicism; and for
hundreds of years as far as those religious entities that came out of
the Protestant Reformation, and was, quite literally all the vast
majority of English and European people knew and understood. Jefferson
wanted to assure his pastor friend that this type of wedding between the
federal government and a religious entity, which was the prevalent
thought of the day, would not be permitted under this radically new form
of government called a "democracy." Jefferson would have been appalled
at the notion that there is not "Supreme Being" or "Creator" of the
universe and those who want to freely worship Him should have the right
to do so.
