  I, for one, would like to see this issue put to rest on the list.  I =
think arguing about whether Bush won or not absent any real evidence is =
unproductive.  I hope that those who disagree with certain aspects of =
his policies (and that includes those who voted for him as well as those =
who didn't), such as fiscal responsibility, stem cell research, =
environmental policy, excessive governmental intrusion in our lives, =
corporate handouts, civil rights, etc., etc., will make their =
differences known.  The reasons more people voted for him are varied and =
complex.  It doesn't necessarily mean that they shared all his views and =
those who voted against him are still allowed to fight for the things =
they believe in, and they should.   =20
