Terry asked: "What is a counter bearing bar?"
It is a Cast thingee, that is essentially a "pressure bar", but usually =
has a Duplex configuration cast into it. In the casting are "feet" that =
sit firmly on the plate. It's these feet that are usually not machined =
properly to get the needed "counter bearing", that results in a not so =
nice termination, that sound like S&*^$.=20
