bass strings

On an upright I encountered, there was a wood/metal buzz on the bass notes.

It turned out that the block had separated from the back so the strings
were too close to the action
and the bottom of the damper levers were buzzing on the strings. A symptom
which might indicate
this problem would be extremely late-lifting dampers.
