Hubert,
Assuming the piano will be in the Houston / Beaumont area of South Texas 
then it will be at least as humid or more so than your location.  As you 
move away from the Gulf it will get dryer and obviously "South Texas" as in 
El Paso is quite dry.  So a lot depends on where in South Texas it will end 
up.  Avery can probably add something to this discussion also.
