I don't know if you've ever tried a LED headlamp. It lights up=
wherever your looking. A little funny on the head...but what=
the heck...I have one from REI I carry with me.

David:

Joe Goss's light looks like a good light...the bulb area looks=
bigger than the Streamlight...the Streamlight lamp is only about=
3/16" round but the flex part looks longer than Joe's. Last time=
I used it was on a spinet action...I set the battery part on the=
keys and put the long flex part way down into the wippen=
area...then I could work from underneath and see what I was=
doing. Doesn't need to put out a 'lot' of light because the=
light is focused directly on the area of concern. Great for my=
 old eyes.

They're both good lamps, just depends on your preference.

I've attached some photos of the flashlights with the doggie legs=
I found at Restoration Hardware. The mag lite lamp can be=
replaced with an LED. The legs on the flashlight help provide a=
good stable, focused, easily manipulated light when working in=
 grand action cavities.

looks good, but it doesn't look like it would put out much=
light...? I take it if I go to Restoration Hardware I can=
check it out? Or is it a catalog item?
