I would have no problem raising my fee when/if necessary. I do understand those who feel the need to charge $150 or whatever, especially if they have a big overhead- kids, college fund, clothing, medical, car(s) payments, mortgage, credit card debt, maybe drug/alcohol dependecy, debt owed to loan sharks, out-of-control gambling problem, etc. I try to base my fees on the average for my area. Of course, there are those "tooners" out there who will charge only $55 or $60. Sooner or later, the piano owner(s) will call me or another qualified tech to "fix" the mess left behind by the "hit 'n run" tooners.
