I recently talked with a neuro scientist who told me that they did EEG
measurements on the brain while let the probands listen to music with
different pitch.
They found that a pitch of about 432 Hz (a pitch used at the time of Mozart)
produces the highest neuronal activity on most probands. Now they use this
observations to stimulate neuronal growth for people with brain damages due
to accidents etc.
