Mysterious Buzzing

I had a customer, a piano teacher, complain about a buzz in an upright she
used for in her class piano room and eventually found that an extension cord
attached to a dampp-chaser was resting against the soundboard and would buzz
only when 3 keys in the middle of the piano was played. I moved the cord
off the bottom of the soundboard and that solved the problem. I showed her
where the buzz originated.

Good luck!
Joy!
