ethics question

I once called a lady to remind her it was time to have her piano tuned .
She said she had just called someone else to tune it.  I asked her if she
would tell me who she called.  Her reply was Melvin Laird.  It sounded like
a familiar name and then I realized he was the Sec . of Defense.  Who knows
what they are thinking.
