Be sure to clean the pins before easing @ the bottom balance rail hole. 
Sometimes a greasy substance will come off, causing you to need less easing. You 
might even make one pass through the hole with a pipe cleaner dipped denatured 
alcohol (sometimes sold as shellac thinner). Let them dry, then try the fit 
again. Is most of the tightness at the hole, or the bushing?
