Metric - was The answer from Yamaha

We are kind of metric up here.
Kilometers instead of miles. The speedometers on the cars have both.
Weights are now metric.
They started the kids in school years ago, on the metric. So it is just the
older generation that is not familiar with it.
Our gas is sold by the litre.
A 2x4 is still a 2x4, actually the 1 3/4" by wahtever as previously stated.
I don't really have a problem with the metric. Ok piano wire sizes, yes.
