Thanks, Joe.  That could well be it.  I was troubleshooting a bass =
damper problem, and probably messed with the trapwork adjustment for the =
sostenuto pedal before I realized it wasn't a bass damper sustain =
pedal...

  Sounds to me like the trapwork isn't actuating far enough. You might =
try adjusting the pedal up first. i.e. the sostenuto is not pivoting far =
enough to catch ALL of the tabs. The ones it's catching now are the ones =
out of adjustment, probably.<G>
