I know many of us get frustrated at times trying to explain to customers  WHY 
their pianos should be serviced more frequently.  I've had a few  experiences 
lately that have caused me to try to think of ways to clue customers  in 
while covering my butt at the same time.  I thought of writing a flyer  to hand to 
customers that has a bit about reasons pianos go out of tune, a few  lines 
about pitch raising, weather changes, regulation, etc., etc., etc.   Not quite 
as detailed as the PTG Bulletins, but broader in scope.  
 
Then I thought that perhaps a collective effort from this list might  benefit 
us all.  There is an incredible amount of brainpower, skill, and  willingness 
to share here in this forum.  Too idealistic  sounding?  Any thoughts on a 
cooperative effort like this?
 
Just thought I'd toss it out there.  I'll probably be working on  something 
along these lines that I'll share with y'all when I get enough  time.
