PVC-E glue

In a pinch I've also used button thread and waxed dental floss.  These also work well for clamping small action parts, although I did have a piano bar owner tel me that he'd never seen anyone "sew" a piano together before.
(No actual sewing involved, just tight wrap)

Masking tape has worked pretty well for me.
