I'll certainly vouch for the quality of David's big ol' M and H! I wish I'=
d=20
had more of a chance to play on it. =20
=20
Dale's piano sounded amazing, almost, but not quite overpowering the =20
smallish auditorium where Richard Glazer played the Gershwin program. BTW,=20=
 David,=20
was that your coat on the chair next to me?
=20
The Friday night concert featuring Eric Himy on the new CC was a treat as=20
well. =20
=20
It was great being able to put faces to the names I know from this list. =20
Nice to meet y'all and have a chance to yak a bit about subjects we know an=
d=20
love!

My friends, there is a true artisan in Modesto, California. To be able to=20
make a piano sound and feel this beautiful, not only in the shop, but on th=

stage, is the work of a rare, rare artist. I am humbly grateful to be the=20
friend, student, peer and collaborator of Dale Erwin.

This was Dale=E2=80=99s FIRST attempt at installing a new board in a D, whi=
ch makes=20
it all that much more mind-blowing.

In the near future, and for as long as he=E2=80=99s working, artists and=20
appreciators will beat a path to this man=E2=80=99s door from all over the=20=
world, begging him to=20
 let them put their fingers on his beautiful spawn.
God willing, I=E2=80=99ll be there smiling and sticking my head inside the=20=
pianos to=20
feel and hear the  beauty.

Gotta go to work; more later.

Dave Stahl, David Ilvedsen, Jurgen Goering, Carl Meyer, Vladan, Terry=20
Miller, Bob Davis---great to see you pianotech list guys....and Ilvedsen is=
=20
actually a good, good player; tell =E2=80=98em about my big beast, Dave....

Best to all....
